Montana Council for Exceptional Children

The Montana Council for Exceptional Children (MCEC) is the state chapter of the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), a national organization that advocates for individuals with disabilities and exceptionalities. The MCEC is a professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for children with disabilities or other exceptional needs in Montana.

What are the responsibilities of the Board of Governors?

Attend two Board meetings per year-- one in person at the annual conference and the other virtually
Participate in the annual conference planning team - meeting monthly virtually for 5-6 months prior to the conference to provide input into conference planning
Assist with the annual conference- at the registration desk (guidance provided) and other tasks that need to be done.
